We’re a multi-generation, family-owned
and operated restaurant, serving Northern NJ for more than 40 Years!

Established in 1978, the Black Forest Inn, in Stanhope, NJ, offers truly authentic German – Continental Cuisine.  Encompassing both regional German foods and neighboring influences from France, Italy and Eastern Europe — truly the ‘Heart of Europe’.

We offer Traditional German Selections, Fresh Fish & Seafood, Prime aged Steaks and Lighter Fare.
Our Menus change with Seasonal Options, including many locally sourced ingredients.
